Fireplace mantels now become the standard of interior design modern home, despite being around since hundreds of years ago, here are some pictures from the fireplace mantle styles range from contemporary to Renaissance to Louis XIV. Currently fireplace use gas fireplace logs and these are transitional and would work in a multitude of decorative settings. All of these fireplace mantels come from Francois & Co They employ a technique called “Scagliola” which became popular during the 17th century in Tuscany as a replacement for Costly marble Inlays.
