Interior Exterior Design and Lighting

Diva is a modern contemporary set of wood lighting fixtures designs laminated floor and pendant light sculptures. By making a contemporary light object the two young designers, Thomas and Peter, make them proud of Norwegian products from the beautiful wood, and at the same time challenge or reinvent how this material can be used. Modern lighting design by Diva’s strong yet gentle with a specific characteristic curve model with subtle modern touches, from which two different sets of patterns occur.

The lamp’s outer frame consists of a set of thirty two gently curving walnut or oak laminated plywood slices set around two wooden cylinders. The inner parts consist of a slim metal stem supporting a solid mouth-blown frosted glass globe. The floor lamp’s outer frame can be turned in two directions, creating two different sculptures. Diva creates a warm yet dynamic atmosphere when it is turned on, and when off it remains an essential and uniquely aesthetic decor object in any room.
